The rooms were cozy and well kept for a reasonable price, and the location made it easy to explore La Spezia and Cinque Terre. The train station is just a block away, so getting to the area and traveling between the villages was simple. Our train was canceled because of a strike, but we rented a car and drove from Florence instead. The hotel had a few spaces in the parking garage next door, which worked out with the sudden change in plans. We didn’t see or meet the staff since we got in each day after normal hours, but they were always ready to share useful local tips and suggestions over whatsapp. The central spot is handy for public transport, local places to eat, and shopping. Le 5 Terre La Spezia gave us a comfortable, convenient, good-value base for visiting Cinque Terre, and I’d recommend considering it for that.

The staff went above and beyond, and the rooms were tastefully decorated with lots of attention to detail. The location is ideal, right by the train station in the city. We paid a nice price and were happy with it. The rooms are on the ground floor and partly below ground, so the humidity and its particular smell never quite go away. There are windows, but they’re blinded while still transparent, which limits the natural light. I think that should be mentioned somewhere.

Erica was great while I was booking, and the information in the room was really useful. We spent one night visiting Cinque Terra. The place is right by the train station and has private parking. The room was nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast voucher worked perfectly: we went to C Bon, and it was excellent. I definitely recommend this place.

We had a pleasant night in the manarolla room. It was modern and cozy, though I did miss having a balcony. The location was perfect, close to both the train station and the center. Special thanks to Elettra, the manager, who greeted us with a warm smile and gave us all the information we needed for our trip to cinque terre. She was very polite and a great hostess. We highly recommend the place. See you next time!

Getting there by car felt very strange, and I was a bit unsure about my choice. Once inside, though, the room was lovely, nicely furnished, and just the right size for a young couple. It was very clean, with a good shower. The location is great, about three minutes from the train station for Cinque Terre and five minutes from the old town of La Spezia. Breakfast is a coupon for a coffee and one brioche at one of four nearby cafes. The private parking felt very safe, but at 22€ per night it’s pretty expensive.
