The good location was the one positive, though the window faces a busy road junction where noisy, smelly buses wait for the light to change. The room looks far better in the pictures. In person it's plywood with protruding bolts, dressed up with lots of cheap decorations like a low-budget stage set. The promised coffee maker wasn't there, and there wasn't even a glass to drink from. The room was cold and damp. The AC, the only heating, was black with dirt, and the floor was freezing. The bathroom had no wall: it seems the wall was removed to fit the AC outdoor unit there, then covered with plywood without insulation. Cold air came in, there was no heating, and the temperature was no higher than 10 Celsius grade. There was a large patch of mold in the corner, and no soap or other supplies. No curtain on the window either, so the lamp outside shone brightly enough to read by at night. Cleaning was random, and they cleaned even when I didn't want it. Afterwards they left the room door and window open, so anyone could have come in. Though it says pets are welcome, they didn't welcome my pet and tried to control how I used the room with it. The whole stay was a nightmare, made worse by the owner or her representative's rude, commanding manner. She was very impolite and acted as if letting us in was a favor. Just be glad if you're lucky enough to get in.
