Silver House

We booked through Airbnb. Before accepting, the owner or employee, Kata, asked us to call. We asked if we could add a night, and Kata said yes, but only for 250€. The first night had cost 70€, so we declined. She then offered both nights for 250€, which we also refused. We assumed the first-night reservation was still valid since Airbnb had deducted the payment. When we tried to confirm with Kata, she stopped replying to our texts. We called on the day we were due to arrive, and she said the room had already been booked by someone else. Be careful with this host or establishment.

A nice room, with good coffee at breakfast. There’s a good restaurant nearby, and the train station isn’t too far away.

The place was clean, with a big room and a large, cozy bed. I had a really good time there.

The only drawback for us was that the sheets looked a little yellowed with age. Otherwise, the furnishings were new, the bathroom had a shower and consistently hot water, and there was free parking nearby. We stayed for 3 days, and the location was excellent, just 1 km from La Spezia train station.
