Daniella has put together a really useful booklet covering places to eat and shop, transport, and things to see in La Spezia and the Cinque Terre. She's a very professional host. We stayed four nights in this comfortable, well-designed one-bedroom apartment on the edge of the pedestrian street in La Spezia’s old town. The fourth-floor flat has a lift, and the windows look out over the old town rooftops. The harbour, public transport, restaurants and shops are all a short walk away, and there's a terrific Doro supermarket a couple of blocks from the apartment. The rooms are finished and furnished to a high standard, with a good bathroom, a comfortable double bedroom with a flat screen TV, a living room with another flat screen TV, and a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has glassware, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, a fridge/freezer, kettle, pod coffee machine, moka pot, gas cooktop, microwave, oven and washing machine. Some basic breakfast supplies were there too. The only thing we missed was wine glasses. The walls are a little thin, so we could hear the neighbours sometimes, but it didn't bother us. A terrific choice for staying in La Spezia's old town.
