The best thing is the location, right next to the train station. The room was small, and the kitchen was outside, which is handy if you want to cook. Still, there was no drinking water, coffee machine or even paper napkins, and nobody was on site.

8/10
The area is fairly quiet at night, and the windows block noise well. Breakfast was served at a corner nearby. The bed was comfortable, the room a good size, and the bathroom was new and clean with a great shower. The accommodation is in central La Spezia, just steps from the train station. The owners were really nice, and Francesco took time to show me where the free parking was. I’d definitely recommend it!

It’s affordable and has the essentials, including complimentary water and juice and outlets for charging phones. The train station and town centre are close by. Would recommend.

The service was terrible. Nobody answered the door or phone at reception, so customers were left waiting outside. The location is in a shady part of town and definitely felt unsafe...
