We lost time and money waiting an hour and fifteen minutes because the key wouldn’t work. So bad, please stay somewhere else.

The room was filthy: dusty sheets, and the only duvet was tossed into the bottom of a dirty cupboard full of hair. The floor and curtain were dirty too, with hair everywhere, even on the only Bajour in the room. There were no shutters, just that one curtain. The air conditioning didn’t work and had visible mold inside the bedroom. When I asked where its remote was, I was told the unit wasn’t working. I asked why nobody had told me beforehand, and the manager said, “There’s no need for air conditioning today,” then sent me a screenshot of the forecast showing cloudy weather and 23°. On the balcony, an abandoned ladder took up space and was dirty; beside it was a broken clothes horse, partly rusty with sharp parts sticking out. The manager hadn’t mentioned those things either. I also had to pick up the keys at another apartment about 500 meters away. I asked several times to collect the tourist tax invoice in person, but instead it was emailed to me through Booking as a generic receipt, not a fiscal invoice. Total disgust, both with the staff and the pitiful state of the property.
