We really liked the room, and the location is convenient: a short walk from the station, right in the lively, cozy city center with lots of affordable food and drink options. La Spezia seems cheaper than other Italian cities. It’s a good base for visiting the Cinque Terre, with Riomaggiore only a 15-minute train ride away. The main thing I’d change is the window curtains. They’re see-through, so I imagine people in the apartments across the street can see into your room when the lights are on. Most of all, I appreciated how well the hosts, Davide and Emanuala, kept us informed via WhatsApp. They shared entry codes and other information, with photos, and made it easy to check in ourselves late at night. They also gave useful tips about the Cinque Terre and made a great breakfast.

We’re from Taiwan and would highly recommend staying here. The employee was clever and able to help with any questions we might have, and we really enjoyed the wonderful breakfast he cooked for us. One day is fine, but we’d have been better off staying longer to enjoy La Spezia. We hope you and your family have a wonderful time there.

My room was comfortable and had everything I needed, including a refrigerator. The two young ladies, Iagoda and Giulia, provided excellent breakfast service, with all kinds of delicious food and made-to-order breakfasts, freshly squeezed orange juice, and coffee drinks. Davide was excellent at check-in, going through numerous maps and answering my questions. He acted as a concierge and stayed very accessible on WhatsApp throughout my trip for questions about restaurants or anything else I might need.

Racconti di Mare made a perfect place for a holiday, with a cozy room and a great breakfast. The staff were very friendly and shared plenty of useful information on arrival, including tips about parking and getting around. It has a unique style and great comfort, and is conveniently located in the city center, within walking distance of dozens of restaurants and the train station for reaching le 5 terre or Lerici. Great B&B, highly recommended.

Our three days were so enjoyable thanks to the people at racconti di mare. Davide and jagoda looked after us really well, pointing out places to see and eat, explaining where to park, and letting us know which Cinque Terre trails were open. We wouldn't have had such a nice stay without them. Please pass our thanks on to Davide and the breakfast ladies. Greetings from The Netherlands.
