The Old Station Rooms

The room was much better than we expected for the price and location: spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom was basic but the shower was very comfortable, and we especially appreciated the coffee maker. We stayed one night in room no. 3 while visiting the Cinque Terre. The location is the real highlight. It’s a two-minute walk to the train station, with great connections between La Spezia and the Cinque Terre, and also just two minutes from the city centre, which is lovely in the evening. They’ve only recently opened, and the few reviews at the time had made us hesitate. They can be proud of keeping the place so tidy and offering such good value. Best wishes, we’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended.

The woman who runs the property was friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean, air-conditioned, and had a comfortable bed with basic furnishings. It’s on the second floor of an apartment, just steps from La Spezia Central Station, so it makes a handy starting point for a Cinque Terre trip.

Check-in and getting the keys were easy, and the owner was very friendly. The price included a small Italian breakfast, a croissant and coffee, at the bar just around the corner. Great value, highly recommended! The guesthouse is right by the train station, handy for reaching the hiking trails. Our recently renovated room was bright and clean, with a spotless private bathroom, a little fridge, and beds freshly made during the day. The rooms look onto a quiet courtyard, so it felt welcoming and peaceful.

The owner really looks after guests and responds quickly whenever there’s a problem. The room was clean and nice, and the location is especially convenient for getting to the Cinque Terre. I recommend it.
