The room was the standout for me, a luxurious, comfortable retreat that felt on par with a top five-star hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout. It’s also very handy for the port, about a five-minute walk, with easy access to trips to the Cinque Terre. I’d rate the hotel a 10 out of 10 and definitely recommend it.

Mikaila was a huge help during our stay, friendly, full of information and suggestions, and happy to handle requests. Her English was great. The room had a couple of quirks: the air-conditioning outlet was tucked behind the curtains, so we had to leave them partly or fully open for the cool air to reach us. Also, the bathroom door was clear glass, which didn’t give much privacy. Some well-placed frosting should be an easy fix. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

The rooms are quiet and thoughtfully designed, and the staff are very friendly. It’s around a 15-minute walk to La Spezia central station, a bit farther than many other hotels, but the distance helps keep the place peaceful and gives it a special feel. The hotel is part of an apartment building and easy to miss, which was a little unnerving at first. We also sometimes had no hot water in the shower, which was frustrating.

The room was nice, though there wasn’t much storage for a longer visit. There were no complimentary basics like water, and the minibar was stocked with drinks for purchase. No proper fridge, either.

The room had an elegant look, a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a spacious bathroom. Our hostess was friendly and helpful. It’s about a 15-minute walk from La Spezia train station, with restaurants nearby and the boat departures for Porto Venere and cinque Terre close at hand. We really enjoyed staying in La Spezia while visiting Cinque Terre.
