The owners were the highlight, charming people with lots of good advice. We stayed almost a week, and the place kept cool even when it was very hot outside. There are great hiking options starting just 1 km away, and you can reach everything you need within a 20-minute drive.

The house is outside the village, which made it a lovely break from the crowds, and everything was still easy to get to. We spent a week there in winter with four people and our dog. Hubert was available by email, and when we arrived the owners were kind and had excellent advice. The free ski bus stops right outside, or you can drive about 15 minutes to the slopes on a convenient, well-cleared road. I’d love to come back in summer for the beautiful nearby walks. ☺️

The Tru di Pra trails start right from this spot, so it worked really well for our August hiking trip. We stayed six nights with our medium-sized dog. The house was very clean and well equipped, and the staff were pleasant without getting in the way. The price felt a little high, which is why I’m not giving five stars. I’d recommend it for summer hikes, though I don’t think it’s ideal for skiing in winter.
