6/10
The location is great, though the stay was a bit of a mixed bag. Food was okay and the service seemed disorganized. Even getting salt took three tries: first an empty shaker, then pepper, and finally salt. The espresso didn't taste right either, so the machine may need checking.

A lovely hilltop setting for a proper break. The rooms are cozy, and the staff were amazing. Definitely recommend it for a few days of relaxation.

The Wi-Fi was unfortunately really poor, and the food portions were tiny for a place like this, with the food itself just average. Still, the stay was pleasant overall, though I came away with mixed feelings.

2/10
The shower was moldy and didn't drain properly, and Wi-Fi kept dropping out. There was no air conditioning, and although I was told the floors were cooled, the window screens were torn, so opening the windows wasn't really an option even if I could put up with the noise. The hotel was very noisy despite its promise of peace and quiet. There's a restaurant, but no other amenities, and the spa is off site, so you'd have to drive there. Staff only spoke Italian, which made communication, including understanding the menu, very difficult.

We found the room/apartment amazing and the atmosphere relaxing, a real chance to recharge. The staff were very hospitable. The only small drawback was that the double-room mattress felt a little thin.
