We spent two nights here and would come back. The room was lovely, the breakfast fabulous, and dinner was great too. I asked for an off-menu vegetarian meal for one person, and they kindly prepared it. The staff were very friendly.

The location is quiet but close to the center of Laces, and Merano is easy to reach. We slept well and would happily return. The staff deserve praise, and the chef is talented: the venison stew was fantastic, so we recommend having dinner at the hotel. Our rooms seemed newly renovated and looked lovely, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The stay included a pass for the nearby thermal baths and public transport for the whole visit. Breakfast wasn't especially extensive, but the ingredients were good. A couple of things made the room less comfortable: the shower's sliding glass partition wasn't sealed, so water also got into the bedroom while the door was open. We had a double bed but no shared blanket, and the pillows weren't comfortable.

Dinner was a real highlight, and breakfast was always plentiful. The hosts were incredibly welcoming. It felt like an ideal base for hikes, in a quiet but central spot where places like the indoor pool and shops are easily reached on foot. If you love nature and want a break from everyday life, you'll feel right at home.
