Happy Holiday In Rome

The balcony was the one really nice part, and we paid extra for it. Beyond that, the stay wasn't very uplifting. Service was never great, and although someone was always reachable, they'd only help sometimes if they felt it was worth doing. The sheets weren't especially clean, and the coffee machine didn't work. For the last two days, there was a strange, very loud noise from upstairs. I don't know if it was a broken dryer or washing machine, but it made sleeping almost impossible. We were tired of complaining, so we didn't tell reception. At the price they're asking, it isn't worth it. The pictures look much better than the place does in real life.

We booked through a third party and paid more than €500 for four nights. The day before our flight, an airport strike caused it to be cancelled, so there was no way for us to reach the accommodation. We tried contacting the property, but the language barrier meant they told us to speak to the third party. The third party got in touch with them, and they refused a refund. They wouldn't even agree to a partial refund. A terrible experience, and I won't consider staying here again.

The owner was very helpful and always reachable on Whassup, even when we just needed advice. The location is handy too, with the airport shuttle five minutes away and the bus station three minutes away. Breakfast was quite poor and could definitely be better.

The bedroom was nice, and the location is close to the Vaticano. Cleaning was poor: they didn't make the beds or clean the bath, and there wasn't enough gel or shampoo in it. We also found ants in the room.
