The four-course dinners were a highlight, with plenty of tasty choices each night, and there were cakes in the afternoon too. We had a perfect stay at Rosenhotel Maria Theresia with our two-month-old daughter. Our room was beautiful, spacious, clean, and had a large bathroom and a fantastic view over Merano city and the valley. There’s a big swimming pool and a cosy garden, and the hotel has a warm, family atmosphere. Everyone on staff was really friendly. The hotel boss gave us great walking route tips based on what we asked for. We’d go back in a heartbeat for another holiday in Merano and the surrounding area.

We had a wonderful, relaxing week. The setting was peaceful and the views stunning, and the team were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious too. We also enjoyed the lovely hiking trails, the excursions on offer, and the wellness area with its focus on foreign policy. Thanks for such a great time. We’ll definitely return if we can!

Our little dog was welcomed so warmly, which doesn’t happen everywhere. The service was amazing, the rooms were spotless, and the food was fantastic. A great hotel, and we’ll be back. All the stars from us, and I’d give the service 100 if I could!

The two lovely people running this beautiful South Tyrol hotel and their fantastic staff looked after us with such care. They saw to every wish, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable vacation. We won’t forget those days and would love to return.

The family-run hotel is clean and tidy throughout, with a fantastic position and stunning views from both the pool and rooms. Merano city center is a 25-minute walk away. There are daily specials and activities at and around the hotel, and bus and train tickets are included. At breakfast, each table gets a little newspaper with the daily program. If you like, you can also join guided hikes, sightseeing tours, and other outings during the day. This is a place where “the customer is king” really fits.
