Such a lovely, clean place, and everyone was friendly.

We keep choosing the Gasserhof year after year. The garden is a real treat, with fruit guests can pick from the trees and bushes, and plenty of space to sit outside and relax. The apartments are attractive and cared for, and they provide towels as well as a bread delivery service.

The Merano Card was a great extra: it covers public transport across South Tyrol, free rides on some cable cars, and museum admission. In Merano, you can also borrow a bike free for up to 5 hours at sharing stations, including one at the train station. The setting, views, and atmosphere all felt just right, making this a vacation we won't forget.
