For a fair hotel, it compares well with its competitors. The rooms were clean and housekeeping did a good job. I couldn’t set a password for the locker. The restaurant was okay, and breakfast had a strong variety of choices.

I stayed for 4 nights before the F1 race in Monza. The facilities are lovely, but the service was deeply disappointing. After my first night, I left a black Ferrari hat at reception. It was a limited edition from Maranello and a sentimental gift from someone I loved who has passed away. When I came back that evening, they couldn’t find it. For 3 days I kept asking. The female receptionists looked at me as if I were crazy, wouldn’t look for it or help, and eventually said, “sorry, we don’t have it.” I was checking out and they offered no solution or further help. Losing a hat may sound trivial, but it’s a worrying sign. People leave luggage, purses with valuables, backpacks, and much more with reception. Losing something and handling it this way is alarming for a hotel and the hospitality industry. After I pressed the issue, I spoke with the Manager. The receptionist gawked and rolled her eyes. The Manager remembered seeing the hat and tried to find it. She took my mailing information, mobile number and email address, but it’s been over a week and I’ve heard nothing. Nobody has returned my calls. It’s extremely disappointing and leaves me feeling that staff don’t care or pay attention when something is left at reception. Be aware.

We’ve been staying here for several years while travelling between Switzerland and Italy on vacation, and we’ll gladly keep returning for the service. The whole staff deserves thanks, especially Federica, the front desk manager, who always looks after us so well. The rooms are elegant and tastefully furnished, with incredibly comfortable mattresses. Breakfast is generous and refined, with something for every preference. The service is outstanding. The outdoor pool is stunning, with its own pool area and restaurant, and you can also enjoy an aperitif there. There’s an indoor pool too, which is perfect in winter.

We needed to stay near the exhibition, so the location suited us perfectly. The blonde lady at reception deserves special thanks, she’s the best. Breakfast was really nice, and the indoor pool was fantastic.
