I spent five days at Borgo del Silencio. The setting is undeniably beautiful and peaceful, but several problems made the stay disappointing. Cleanliness was a major concern: the rooms weren’t properly cleaned, and we came across numerous spiders. One apartment even had a wood scorpion, which was very unsettling. The property needs more thorough cleaning and better pest control. Basic items were missing too: there were no trash bags, the coffee machine only worked with specific pods sold on site, and there was no regular coffee maker. No pool towels were provided either, making pool use less convenient. The buildings also need attention. Many house walls were cracked, showing signs of neglect and a lack of proper renovation over time. The place has real potential, but currently falls short on cleanliness, amenities, and maintenance. With serious improvements it could be wonderful, but as things stand, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Disappointed. ☹️ We stayed five nights at Borgo del Silencio. The location is charming and the natural surroundings are peaceful, but several issues took away from the stay. The biggest problem was cleanliness. There were spiders throughout the rooms, and we even found a wood scorpion in one apartment, which made us uncomfortable. The cleaning didn’t seem thorough, and upkeep didn’t feel like a priority. Some basics were missing as well: no trash bags, no pool towels, and the coffee machine only took specific pods sold on the property, with no standard coffee option. The buildings show serious wear, with cracked walls and aging interiors that suggest they haven’t been properly renovated in a long time. Borgo del Silencio could be a special place if these things were addressed, but the lack of attention to detail made our stay less enjoyable.
