We’ve come more than 1,800 km from our home in Poland, and it was worth it. We’re still here, but already want to return someday. La Mandriola feels magical, full of soul and atmosphere, with the real Tuscan feel inside its medieval walls. The pool is lovely, the greenery is beautiful, and all around there’s only quiet fields, vineyards, cypresses, olive trees, and a family of cool Italian cats. The staff on site are helpful and very nice. They welcomed us with a thoughtful gift, a bottle of excellent red wine from their own local vineyard. Thank you, it was just what we needed to recharge our batteries.

We were there for my friend’s wedding, and found the place beautiful, with courteous and helpful staff. It was very cold up there in Tuscany. If you visit in September, bring a jacket and a raincoat or umbrella. Don’t forget mosquito repellent either, you’ll need it!

The hosts are so welcoming, and the rooms are clean, really high standard, and have that Tuscan feel. For anyone wanting a lovely break to rest and recharge, I highly recommend it. To me, it’s the most beautiful place in Tuscany.

The local cooking dinner on Thursday is a must, it was simply amazing. Our room was very spacious and had all the equipment we needed. The whole place is well maintained and the staff are very friendly. Their English is poor, but the service, kindness, and enthusiasm make up for it.
