We ended up staying and ordering pizza even after learning, when the waiter brought the menus, that the kitchen was closed and pizza was the only option. Nobody had mentioned that when we booked by phone. We’d arrived an hour late, apologized, and asked if that was a problem. They said not to worry and seated us. The beer portions weren’t equal, and we’d ordered large but got medium. Our water didn’t arrive until we asked several times. The pizzas took an hour and a half, while empty glasses and plates from a really poor antipasto stayed on the table. We also had to ask again about beers we’d ordered earlier. They finally came near the end of dinner, in small sizes. When we went to pay, we asked to split the bill and got a rude response that it would cause problems. I still don’t understand why. After we managed to split it, they told us we shouldn’t have complained because we were late. I hope they don’t treat other customers as rudely as they treated us. It was our first dinner at this restaurant, even though we’re from Lamezia, since we all live in other cities. None of us would recommend eating here in town.
