After a good night’s sleep in my clean, comfortable, tidy room, I helped myself to breakfast: drinks, cereal, and the usual continental options. The area was very quiet. My room had a bar fridge, and the shared bathroom was exactly as described when I booked. I stayed overnight because my flight from Stansted was fairly late and I planned to pick up a hire car the next day. My main accommodation was over two hours away, so driving there that night would’ve meant arriving very late. The overnight stay at the Magna saved me both money and a tiring nighttime drive. Gionvanni met me at the airport without a hitch and kept me updated. Once we got to the Magna, he explained everything I needed to know. Thanks to Gianvanni, the English-speaking Italiano, for such a welcoming stay!

It felt like visiting family in the countryside, with a peaceful setting away from the crowds. The owners were so friendly, communication was easy, and the place is cozy and even nicer than the photos. The german shepherd is the sweetest boy, too. The flexible breakfast and parking were exactly what we needed. We were only passing through, which is a shame, because I’d love to come back and stay longer. :)

Giovanni and his family, including their very chilled out dogs, made us feel like part of the family. Staying here for a week was one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve had in more than 30 years of traveling around the world. Loved it! Grazie mille!

The rooms were very clean, and the rest of the B&B was just as tidy. The atmosphere was lovely, and Giovanni helped us with all sorts of things during our wonderful week there. Bring your own car or rent one if you’re coming, since many places in Calabria can only be reached by car. :) Kind regards, Jenny
