Tonino and Marisa's place felt like paradise, and we were at home from the very first day. We felt so welcomed and pampered, as if we'd always been there. It was one of our best holidays ever. We can't go a whole year without seeing our friends, so we'll be back in June!
What stays with us most is the welcome from Tonino and Marisa. Their affection, helpfulness, and smiles will always be in our hearts. We stayed with friends in two neighboring dammusi at Manuela's from September 22, 2024, to September 29, 2024. The garden was spectacular, the place was meticulously kept, and the views from sunrise to sunset were breathtaking. We could walk to Mare Morto, just a stone's throw away. The dammusi were beautifully and distinctively furnished, reflecting the hostess's taste and personality. Perfect weather made our lunches and dinners under the porticoes, with every comfort, even better. Thank you, and see you soon ❤️
Manuela, Marisa, and Tonino bring together sincere hospitality, kindness, helpfulness, smiles, music, and "pani conzatu". The dammusi have understated elegance, thoughtful details, and great taste while staying true to the island's style. They're in a peaceful oasis, just a short walk from both the sea and the town center. It all makes for an unforgettable holiday in one of the Mediterranean's most beautiful corners. 10 out of 10, I'd definitely come back!
The dammusi are cared for inside and out, with tasteful furnishings and attention to detail. As someone who enjoys a BBQ, I appreciated how the stone-covered one blends into the surroundings. You can see the Dead Sea cove from the property, and the lovely sea is easy to reach even on foot. The supermarket and town of Lampedusa are both nearby. In an area where the race for profit seems to have overtaken hospitality, Casa di Manuela is family-run, genuine, and attentive to guests' needs. It's a beacon for travelers who notice the details and can return the kindness they find there. I hope to come back soon.
Marisa and Tonino were so kind and attentive, offering helpful advice that made us feel right at home. The traditional dammusi are beautifully furnished, comfortable, and kept spotless. A spacious terrace and solarium look out over a magnificent sea view. It's a charming, well-maintained place close to the sea and only a short way from the town center. Five stars.
