B&B Casa Gilania Lampedusa

Francesca's care and passion really make this B&B feel like home. She looked after us from the moment we arrived and gave us tips for making the most of our holiday. Her approach to hospitality could be an example to plenty of starred hotels. We stayed a couple of days in June with two friends. The place is central, well cared for, and has a lovely terrace for breakfast or just relaxing. I'm already in love with Lampedusa and its sea.

Francesca was full of helpful tips and interesting facts about the island. Breakfast was exceptional, with fresh fruit and cakes Francesca baked each day. The central location made it easy to get lunch or dinner, find ATMs and shops, and catch the shuttle to the coves. Such a pleasant stay, highly recommended.

We just left and are already looking forward to coming back. Francesca's hospitality is priceless, and we couldn't have picked a better place to feel at home.

Maddalena really paid attention to what we liked and made us feel spoiled at breakfast on the terrace. Francesca was also consistently kind and thoughtful, always ready with suggestions for things to do on the island. We stayed during the second week of October, and the warm Lampedusan welcome made for a wonderful holiday. The B&B is central and handy for getting around. The rooms are simple, clean, and tidied every day. We appreciated the 2 liters of still water provided daily and being able to keep food we'd bought in the refrigerator. We'd happily return.
