Anyway, the hospitality was good.

Monica and the staff always make me feel at home, which is why this is now my fourth year coming here. I love the location, easily the most beautiful in Lampedusa, and the beach and its little cove are just as lovely. The rooms are cleaned well and I have no complaints about breakfast either. Thanks for everything, and see you again next year.

Rosa was exceptional: friendly, professional, and always willing to help. She really makes a difference, but the property is very expensive and has serious service shortcomings. The room was large, though there were few power outlets. There was a kettle, but the coffee was in an open jar rather than sachets, and no cups were provided. The sunny, spacious terrace had nowhere to hang towels or swimsuits. Getting to breakfast meant climbing two flights of stairs in the sun; breakfast was self-service, with a limited buffet. The WiFi was weak, and getting into the sea from the pier with the umbrellas and loungers was difficult. At €320 per night in July 2025, I don't think the stay was worth the price. The owner's replies don't dispute these points. I'm talking about the service, not the location. The website should clearly and prominently mention how difficult it is to reach both the sea and the breakfast room. I also have to say, if one of my employees answered a supplier or customer the way this hotel's owner answered me, I'd fire them immediately. A look at my Google reviews shows I've stayed in various places, not just in Riccione, where the accommodations were comfortable and reasonably priced.

The rooms have stunning sea views, and the whole place feels wonderfully calm. Monica, the owner, was always available and happy to handle requests, so we felt at home; the rest of the staff were friendly and capable too. Guests can use free sun loungers and umbrellas on the cliff below the relais, with direct access to the clear water. The location is enchanting, maybe even unique. Controvento restaurant also faces the sea and has a lovely view. It serves lunch and dinner, and the dishes were excellent. Thanks especially to Nancy, Alfonso, Giorgia, and everyone at Relais Isole del Sud!!! We had a wonderful stay.
