Hotel U'Piddu Club

The boat trips were a highlight. The captain was warm and professional, and took us around the wonderful waters of Lampedusa. We came away with memories we’ll keep for a long time. The hotel itself was welcoming and carefully looked after, and we felt at home right away. A special thank you to the manager, who was such a one of a kind person and always attentive to what we needed. The food surprised us in the best way, and the aperitifs were fabulous. Great service and a great location, highly recommended! 🌟

The boat trips were one of the best parts of our stay. There was plenty of room on board, and they made excellent aperitifs and lunches. Captain Piero and his assistant Andrea were such good company that the whole experience felt special. It was also just a four-minute walk from the hotel to the port, which made getting to the boat easy. Back at the property, manager Raffaele and the staff looked after us wonderfully. They were available, handled all our requests, and Raffaele helped with so many things. I'm glad I met him. The food was fresh and delicious, and Massimo and his staff made every dish memorable. We also appreciated the owners' care and commitment in arranging our stay. I’d recommend the place if you want to relax without having to worry about anything.

The garden is beautifully kept, with clean grounds and cool shade under the trees. It feels peaceful even though you’re close to the busy part of Lampedusa, and the port is right nearby. Each morning the Jamaica is there to take the guests who chose u piddu out on the water. Pietro is friendly on the boat, while Andrea is more discreet, and the food is excellent both there and at dinner on the veranda, where a refined chef cooks. Everyone makes an effort to pamper you. Manager Raffaele can arrange everything from scooters and cars to cocktails and special aperitifs on the terrace overlooking the port and town. This three-star place has a little paradise feel, with passion and simplicity at its heart. Airport transport is included, and it feels like happiness is too.

What stays with you about a holiday at UPiddu is the people. Their warmth and friendship are there from the moment you arrive. Raffaelle, her brother Pasquale in the evenings, Pilla, Palmina, Valeria, and Chef Massimo all made it memorable. Then there’s Captain Piero, who turns up looking wonderful and leaves you feeling melancholy when it’s time to go. Some five-star hotels would be outshone by this place, not for the service, but for the people. A must!
