There’s plenty of parking for both cars and motorcycles, and the residence is in a really quiet area near Cala Croce and Cala Madonna. You can hear birds during the day. Outside, a little table and chairs make a nice spot for breakfast or dinner, and we recommend separating your waste. The apartments are spacious and have the basics: TV, fridge, sofa, air conditioning, and enough dishes and cutlery. There’s also a small travel hairdryer. The bathroom could be improved with a larger shower stall. The place is in good shape, though a light renovation would help. The staff were extremely friendly and even let us use spaces after checkout.

They were very kind when we first arrived, but after that, things went downhill. The shower faucet was broken and fell on our feet. When we reported it, they said the shower still worked and that a plumber would come on checkout day, though he never showed. There was no courtesy room. Our airport transfer came seven hours early because of road closures, even though we only needed to take a different route. We were also told Cala Pisana, where we could have spent the day and left our bags, was closed because of bad weather. Other people told us it was open and operating. A shame, because the island is beautiful, but most people aren’t!

Nothing was good. I had to leave my bags on the floor all week. The bathroom was horrible, with everything broken and dirty, and the gas cylinder ran out. The place was badly maintained, and the manager was no help at all. I don’t know if management has changed, but it was practically nonexistent. I’ve stayed in much nicer places. Never again.

Antonino was there to help on site and was always available to anyone. Veliero Bù is a lovely, peaceful residence close to the most beautiful beaches. We had a wonderful holiday in Lampedusa, and I recommend it.

Ms. Claudia helped with everything right away. She arranged the van from the airport to the apartment and back, and suggested places to rent a motorbike and eat. The apartment was comfortable, with a lovely veranda where we could relax. Five stars, more than deserved. I can’t wait to return!
