Villa Giardino Paradiso Cefalù

We were very happy with our stay at Villa Giardino Paradiso, especially with children in the group. The pool is deep enough for a careful dive and big enough for the kids to enjoy. Citrus trees fill the garden, so fresh juice and lemonade became a daily treat. Everyone could eat together in the large kitchen, or use either of the two garden tables for a more private meal. The house is well kept and conveniently placed, less than a kilometer from the nearest beach and only minutes from Cefalù. It works especially well for a large family or a group of friends in this price range. The main house has five spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and shower, air conditioning, mini fridge, and TV. There are also two more rooms in the small garden house. We did have a few small annoyances: water pressure was low on the second floor, neighborhood dogs barked, and the second barbecue lacked a proper grill grate. The owner and manager, Benedetto Giardina, came within an hour when we called about the wi-fi going offline. It turned out to be an ISP issue, and he sorted it out with a call to the internet provider. We paid €2200 for a week in early June and used all five rooms. Prices vary by season, as they do in most places. I’d recommend staying here. If the house is too big for you, Benedetto’s website also lists apartments and smaller villas.
