The only snag was having to park uphill. Otherwise, it's welcoming and clean, with the unusual treat of sleeping in a cave. Matera is just a stone's throw away. Highly recommended.

The rooms are in caves, but there's none of that bothersome musty smell. Everything was really clean and well equipped, and the owner was so kind and welcoming. It's close to the Mater Domini sanctuary too. I loved it and recommend staying here.

My room had all the comforts I needed for a relaxing stay, and I really enjoyed being here. The place is lovely and easy to reach. The owner was kind, helpful, and always available.

The historic center and several shops are an easy walk away, and the house itself has plenty of charm. One room is practically a cave, and we slept under a duvet. We couldn't use the coffee capsules because they weren't compatible, so we went to a bar for breakfast during our two days there.

The apartment is fabulous and the setting is beautiful. Sleeping in the caves feels special, and the rooms are quaint and welcoming, just right for a couple of peaceful days. We did sleep under an unbelievably warm quilt in the hot weather, though. I'd definitely come back.
