Angela prepared breakfast with so much passion, and it was a lovely, peaceful way to start the day. The farmhouse has a small but very comfortable pool, and the four of us, two adults and two children, had a great time there. Angela and Andrea were hospitable and helpful from the start. We spent a relaxing week visiting many wonderful places nearby, including the sea, and recommend this place to everyone.

We spent three nights here in mid/late September, and the landlady welcomed us right away. It felt like a family vacation, with everyone being lovely and regularly checking that all was well. The apartment matched the pictures. The courtyard and pool are thoughtfully done, with plenty of loungers in both sun and shade; the pool was very clean and cleaned each morning. Mornings brought fresh croissants and tasty homemade jam. The kitchen has two hotplates and cookware, though we didn't cook. The shower had properly hot water and steady pressure. The cats mentioned in earlier reviews are around, but very shy and didn't come near us during our three days. The location is very quiet, and we took trips to Castel del Monte, Albergobello, and Matera. I can really recommend the apartment 😊

I've been coming back for three years now, including in June and July this summer of 2023, and today, stretched out on my lounger by the pool, I finally decided to share my secret place: Masseria 25 anni. I first found it by chance three years ago and had guarded the secret jealously until now. It's out in the countryside, peaceful and quiet, with white Apulian farmhouse buildings, blue skies, and lovely pools. What makes it even more special is the family: Angela, Andrea, Aunt Franca, their children Antonio, Gianfranco, and Betta, and everyone else I've met and grown to love over time. That includes my grandmother, who's given me more than 50 years, even though I'm only 43. Well, that's another story 😂 The food and hospitality are a warm hug from Puglia. The accommodations are simply but beautifully furnished, spotless, fresh-smelling, cool with air conditioning, spacious, comfortable, and have high ceilings. Whether you stay for a day or a week, every moment feels restful and beautiful. Breakfast is out of this world, with warm croissants, cream made each morning using fresh eggs from Aunt Franca's chickens, and homemade jams. Angela is tireless, attentive, and always ready to help, working alongside Aunt Franca and finding ways to give you a little extra. She also makes sure you don't leave without trying their panzerotti, some of the best things I've ever eaten. Come to Laterza, come here. We'll all sit at one big table with food, joy, and laughter, and admire the most beautiful Apulian sunsets together.

Ms. Angela made us feel so looked after and welcome. It’s a lovely spot to unwind, and its location is handy for getting to places like Matera and Taranto.
