The owners made sure I was thoroughly looked after, and the comfort was first-rate. It was a fabulous stay, and I’ll definitely return. Thanks for everything, Maurizio. (The picture shows frico and red juices for a snack.)

The spacious garage was great for our motorcycles, and we had everything we needed on vacation. We liked the beautifully furnished guesthouse, tucked at the edge of town with mountain views. It was wonderfully quiet at first: at night with the window open, all we heard was the church bell and a tawny owl. The owners are incredibly friendly and lovely, and we booked again right away for the following year. I hope their friendly family always has us back, and wish them success and pleasant guests. Update 2021: The past two years have been frustrating, though none of this is the owners’ fault. Neighbors got dogs to keep wild boars out of their gardens at night, but the dogs seem to hate being outside and bark nonstop from evening until dawn. During my whole 14-day stay, I couldn’t get a decent night’s sleep, even with the windows shut. The peace and quiet was exactly what I’d valued about this place. The landlords live in Villa Santina rather than here, and the locals all seem hard of hearing.

There’s a place to store bikes here. The private B&B sits somewhere wonderfully peaceful, with fantastic views, and the hosts are very nice, friendly, and helpful.

The welcome from the people here was wonderful. I had a really good time; the place felt comfortable and inviting. Highly recommend it.
