The room was roomy and really clean, and the location with parking on site is what made me pick this place. The staff member I met was friendly from the start. When the lock gave me trouble, he even returned after hours to sort it out. There was no AC in the room, despite the online listing saying there was. It wasn’t too hot while I was there, but I’d call to check about AC if you’re visiting in hot weather. Pretty nice place.

The bathroom looks completely new, and the room was cleaned really well every day. Staff were polite and helpful too. It’s very close to the beach, and costs two or three times less than nearby hotels, so it’s a good fit if that’s what you’re after. The room itself was quite OK. WiFi only worked near reception, not in the room.

The heat made the two nights impossible for us to sleep through. It was over 100 degrees and there were no fans or AC, with bugs flying around the room as well. We were there with a student group, and the hotel didn’t seem set up to accommodate a large group. They charged the children 1 euro for extra towels, which were so thin we thought they were table linens. There were plenty of bananas, but the wait staff wouldn’t let us have any and offered only apples, which I’m allergic to. At least the beach is very close.

The breakfast was amazing, especially the fresh fruit and good coffee. We felt very welcome with our child, and both the facilities and bedrooms were clean. The lido is just a short walk away. I’d totally recommend it.

The location was very good, about a 150 m walk to the beach and close to the Cavi station. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and Lavagna town is 2 km away. My room was spacious, but there was no WiFi 😒. My stay at tirreno hotel was fine.
