Albergo Monteverde

The hotel looks stunning and clearly caters to families, with the ski slopes conveniently close by. The crew were friendly and attentive, and the service made for a really positive atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the hygiene standards were reassuring. The one area that could use more attention is maintenance. With some extra upkeep, the overall experience could be even better. It's a remarkable place, and the design, family-friendly feel, location, service, and food all add to its appeal.

Don't book. The rooms are old, the showers run cold, the food is bad, and the service is shitty.

The location is okay, but the hotel sits right beside the main road, and the room insulation is poor for both heat and noise. The furnishings and appliances are dated, and the internet is unreliable, sometimes slow and sometimes not working at all. It feels like the hotel cuts corners everywhere, from heating and food to amenities. Most of the food seems to be frozen or from cheap industrial brands. The staff aren't properly trained either, one entered the room without the client's consent. I won't be coming back.

We were in the area with the family for a walk and to look around. I asked if they could warm a container for our 1.5-year-old and was told no because they had too many clients. They saved half a minute on the microwave and lost 12€ in business, since we planned to get coffee there afterward.
