Appartamento Arco

The apartment is much bigger than others I've stayed in around Italy, and it's well equipped, with everything needed in the kitchen. We have a lake view, and restaurants and shops are all around; this feels like classic Italian living, la dolce vita indeed. The fridge was stocked with eggs, yoghurt, milk, butter, margarine, Nutella, jam and water. Davide, our host, met me, my wife and our adult daughter at the agreed spot at Parcheggio San Martino. I drove from Abbruzzo, and he helped with our luggage and walked us to the apartment. The car park is about a 10-minute walk away. We'd only been there two hours when I wrote this, but I already felt sure our five-day family stay would be a good one. Couldn't speak highly enough of it. Ciao from Franco from Australia.

The location is fantastic and makes for a lovely apartment stay. Davide, the manager, was great to communicate with through the app. Pizzeria and Cucina Arco is worth recommending too, with very friendly service and excellent Italian food.

I wouldn't book here, and I don't recommend it. I reserved through Booking.com at the start of the year, but the owner canceled three weeks before we were due to leave, without any explanation or contact. Similar places in Garba were then reaching 5,000 euros, and we were left stranded with our 8-month-old baby. Anyone could be scammed this way, so I wouldn't trust the booking.

We only spent one night there, but that was enough to see how courteous and kind Paola and Davide are. The apartment is bright, very clean and spacious. Its big advantage is the central spot in Lazise, plus a lovely lake view from the balcony.
