It’s fairly clean and well organized, but I don’t understand why they cut down the trees. There’s hardly any shade, and it gets very hot.

Park Delle Rose feels like home, and the staff are helpful whenever you need something. Many speak more than one language, and a few can even speak Dutch, which is a tough language, trust me. The campsite is within walking distance of Lazise, with its lovely scenery and atmosphere. There’s plenty to do on site. You can swim in Lake Garda from the waterfront pitches, or use the pool near reception, which has two fun slides for kids and other amusements. There’s also a gym by the pool and a tennis court. In the evening, the animation team keeps the little ones entertained while you have a drink at the bar. The mini market has the basics, just remember it really is mini. It’s also a handy base for the nearby amusement parks: Gardaland and Moviepark have rides and roller coasters, while Caneva World is all about water attractions. A great family getaway.

We had a really good time at this campsite and didn’t notice any downsides. The pools, beach, bars, and animations were all great. The sanitary buildings were clean and easy to get to. We’d definitely come back.

The pool was nice, and the sanitary facilities were kept in good shape. It’s a great campsite in a perfect location, with friendly staff. We’d love to return!

I spent 10 days at this campsite, and of the three I’ve stayed at in the area, this was easily the worst. Basic hygiene was a problem. The bathrooms had no toilet paper or soap, so you had to bring your own just to stay clean. The toilets were often dirty, and I regularly saw insects crawling around. Many pitches had too little shade, the shop was poorly stocked, the restaurant was very average, and a lot of the facilities badly need renovation. The staff were another disappointment. Reception was rude and unhelpful, especially the manager, who seemed burned out by the season and uninterested in customer satisfaction. The pool staff were unpleasant too. The lifeguard supervisor didn’t speak English and often took her frustrations out on children. The lake entrance was slippery and dangerous, and the beach itself was in poor condition. Getting around the campsite was awkward: the gate to the sports field was always locked, so we had to take a long detour, and the beach gates were locked after 11 PM. I can’t reply directly to the campsite staff’s response, so I’m adding my reply here. I’m tired of this ongoing discussion, but want to give readers more context. Our children did break the pool rules once by using the slide improperly. We agreed it was unsafe and told them not to do it again. By the end of the day, though, they were banned from the pool without any prior warning. The next day, the lifeguard accused them of using Italian curse words and banned them from the pool for the rest of our stay, five days. After speaking with our children and others who witnessed it, we realized a commonly used Polish word had been mistaken for an Italian insult. We tried to explain, but the lifeguard didn’t speak English. We had to go through the reception manager, who showed no interest in resolving things, said our children were lying, and kept the ban in place. Even though the lifeguard was mistaken, we wanted to make sure she didn’t feel unfairly offended, so we asked the children to apologize. She refused to shake their hands and walked away. When the campsite staff wouldn’t resolve the issue, we used the pool the next day because we believed we had the right to. The lifeguard still wouldn’t let the children in, so we involved the reception manager again. With no goodwill toward a compromise, the police were called to mediate. Before the police arrived, we were told we could leave early but wouldn’t get a refund for the remaining days. No discount was offered until we demanded one in front of the police. The conversation with them was amicable, and they seemed surprised by how trivial the matter was. We only reached a compromise and got a discount thanks to them. A little goodwill could have resolved it without their involvement. This was a minor misunderstanding, unrelated to pool rules or safety, that had to be settled with police help. They seemed to know more about customer service than some of the campsite staff. Given the unfriendly service and the other problems I mentioned, I strongly advise families looking for a peaceful vacation to choose another campsite around Lake Garda.
