This is just about the restaurant. The food was a letdown: the bread was old, hard, and stale, and the replacement the waiter brought after I mentioned it was exactly the same. The sliced beef tasted fine, but came cold and dry. The fish platter was dry and overcooked, and the grilled sausage seemed like a warmed-up supermarket canned sausage. It was expensive too. I'd eat somewhere else.

We returned for a third visit because the food had been good on the first two nights, and the location was excellent. This time we had to send a dish back and got no apology. The staff were dismissive unless you were local or spending a lot, and didn't seem to recognize us as returning customers. Not one smile in three nights. I wouldn't come back.

About the restaurant: the food was okay, though nothing special, and the house wine was awful. The service felt rude and arrogant. If you're not a local, I can't recommend visiting.
