2018 Mimì Maison by Barbarhouse

The apartment itself is very good and beautifully restored, in an excellent part of Lecce. But it was poorly managed and maintained during our four-night stay with four people. The floors were dirty, there was just one set of keys, and the bed sheets were stained. In the bathroom, the toilet paper roll was already used with no replacement, the holder had come loose, and we only got two small soap cakes and two tiny liquid soap bottles. The toilet seat was dangerously loose, the sink tap handle was fixed with an old screw, and the soap dispenser was broken. The kitchen freezer door was broken and someone had put in a useless peg to hold it shut. The saucepan handles were nearly falling off, there were no tea towels, only one coffee capsule and one sachet of balsamic vinegar, blunt knives, few cooking utensils and no proper rubbish bin. The apartment badly needs routine maintenance. With so little care, I worry about how much attention is paid to basic hygiene. If I owned it, I'd find new managers.
