Staying in the hotel (Masseria) next door, we tried Tenuta Solicara for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by both the food and the friendly service. Ivanna and her Sardinian chef husband make lovely local and Sardinian home-cooked dishes, and they serve Pizzas on Saturdays. Prices are very reasonable, and the half-litre of local red was rich and tasty. The menu was only in Italian, but Google translate made that easy enough. We'd love to return the next time we're in Puglia.

We came over for dinner from the hotel next door. The food was very good, and the service was amazing. We don't speak Italian, which made things a little difficult, but our server did speak it and dinner went much more smoothly. I'm so glad there's a wonderful restaurant right by where we're staying!

We're six days into a two-week holiday and have already eaten here four times, which says a lot. Everything we've tried has been freshly cooked, authentic, tasty, and truly homemade. It feels like eating with family, and the staff are brilliant.

We live nearby and often get takeaway pizzas here. They're reliably good, though the toppings are a little on the conservative side. It's also a great place to eat, with a lovely atmosphere outdoors or by the fire in winter. The antipasti and primi are generally fine. The house red is passable, the rosè is a bit better, and prices are usually very reasonable.

Only 2 km from the beach and just outside Lecce, this agriturismo has a gorgeous setting. The restaurant serves an amazing range of local dishes made with products from the surrounding area. Cannot recommend it highly enough!
