Il Garbino Suite and Apartment

We had a wonderful stay as a family, and Alberto was a great host, always answering our questions with a smile. Both units are well furnished and in an excellent location, with fairly spacious rooms. If you’re traveling with older people, I’d especially recommend the ground floor unit. The first floor one is lovely too, though the stairs, access to the main bedroom, and smaller bathroom could be a little tricky.

The service was excellent, with helpful communication from the time we booked through check-in and throughout our stay. The apartment was beautifully presented and had most of what we needed. Since it’s in the old city there’s no parking there, but they helped us find a spot about a 15-minute walk away.

I made a Booking reservation two months ahead and got confirmation. Ten days later, the owner kept messaging me privately, pressuring me to cancel because the place was supposedly no longer available. He offered another of his properties instead, at a higher price. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

A real disappointment. The bnb didn’t deliver what it had offered, and I was treated very badly.
