La Fiermontina | Luxury Home

Our room at the museum, just a minute from the hotel, felt wonderfully private even with another family staying there. It was on the top floor, with a huge patio and jacuzzi all to ourselves. Inside, there was a big, comfortable bed, a great shower, and plenty of space. Breakfast seemed to be just for us early risers, and the chef was such a sweet, kind person. We could also use the hotel's gorgeous pool and visit its other property, a little farther away, with a beautiful roof deck for cocktails and views over Lecce. The location itself was ideal, in the historic center and close to the sights while still quiet. Marta, Eleonora, and the rest of the team were genuinely kind and went out of their way to make everything easy. La Fiermontina is the nicest, most comfortable place we've ever stayed. We didn't want to leave. Marta, could we come back and live upstairs at the museum? You wouldn't even notice us. Please give everyone our thanks. Loved room #20, and La Fiermonte in Lecee was amazing. Everyone there was exceptional, from the heart drawn in my cappuccino to Marta's thoughtful notes and suggestions. Sam and the team also helped us with the air conditioning. I'd recommend La Fiermonte to anyone.

The hotel grounds are so inviting, with olive trees and orange trees in the gardens, and a cozy feel despite all the understated elegance. Inside, the artwork is special, including the pieces in the private museum. Once you hear the story behind it, the collection becomes even more captivating. The place is stunning, almost like being dropped into a movie set. At night, the sparrows flying chaotically overhead can feel a bit Alfred Hitchcock-esq. Our room was elegant and comfortable. The only thing I struggled with was the bathroom lighting, which made applying makeup difficult, and the safe was a challenge too. The website photos really don't do the property justice. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Lecce was quaint and the food was good. The hotel arranged a driver and guide for one day, then a day at Mora Mora beach club, and both were great experiences. Highly recommend!

Aldo was especially kind and welcoming throughout our amazing stay. He made us great drinks and pointed us toward some lovely places.
