Chiara made us feel welcome straight away, almost like we were part of the family. She’s genuine, honest, and really service minded. Our room had everything we needed: it was clean, tidy, spacious enough, and had a good shower, plus a fantastic lake view. Breakfast was lovely, with quality local products and good coffee. You can also buy things the family makes at very reasonable prices. Botton d'Oro is the yellow house on the right in Stazzona, up a steep drive. If you’re in the area and need somewhere to stay, we’d happily recommend it.

Breakfast came with freshly picked fruit and a lot of care. The Garda lake views and the surrounding scenery are lovely, and every room has its own little lawn and loungers where you can sit and take it all in. It’s a welcoming family-run place, with several guest rooms set apart from the family’s own space. Everyone was very friendly.

We were welcomed with an ice-cold drink, and from the moment we arrived until we left, they treated us like friends. The surroundings are wonderful, and our host was delightful. The homemade food was top class, especially the cakes, jams, and drinks. 110% plus, it was a pleasure to be there. We wanted to stay forever.

The owner was so kind and helpful. We stayed in a cozy village, in a really nice, clean place with a lake view and a terrace full of flowers. Breakfast was traditional and natural, and they even served walnuts and hazelnuts collected from the forest.
