Le Tre Civette

I’d give it zero stars if Google allowed that. The property itself is in good condition and the location is excellent, but the owner’s lack of courtesy and hospitality made this a very negative stay. When we arrived, she kept us waiting 40 minutes to check in, even though we’d let her know we were coming half an hour earlier. We overlooked it because it was high season, she owns other B&Bs across Puglia, and her daughter was kind. The following day, she sent us a WhatsApp reprimanding us for leaving the air conditioning on. We apologized for forgetting, then asked why she’d entered the room and whether linen changes were included. She didn’t respond. On our last evening, after a short trip into the city center, we found the air conditioning remote had somehow disappeared, even though the unit was off. My mother has asthma and the room was unbearably hot, so we called to ask for another remote. The lady hung up on us instead. We left the next morning disgusted by the way we’d been treated, after a sleepless night and without even getting the already meager breakfast we’d expected.

The owners were friendly and very helpful, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast room has a lovely view over Lecce’s old town. Le Tre Civette is just steps from Porta Rudiae, so you’re right in the historic center, with plenty of free parking nearby.

Our room was spacious and clean, and the owners were friendly and helpful. The breakfast room has a wonderful city view, and you’re just a few steps from the historic center.

I’d leave zero stars if that were an option. The room was awful, the cleanliness was terrible, and breakfast was dreadful.
