The room was neat and very clean, and the staff were friendly. It’s good value for the price. The bus terminal is right nearby, though the center is a bit of a walk and the train station is a long trek.

I found this welcoming, modern B&B at the last minute after the apartment I'd booked in Lecce became unavailable. It was the last room left. The owner is young, friendly, and hospitable, and you can drive into the center of Lecce in 5 minutes. Breakfast is included in the €50 overnight price for two people over the April 25th long weekend. Since I'm celiac, the owner even bought a traditional gluten-free Lecce dessert for me, and it was delicious. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The owner handled a small problem perfectly, but it still keeps me from giving 5 stars. The French room has no sanitary facility for washing underwear, which is unusual for us Italians. Even so, it's excellent value for money.

It feels like being at home at B&B Spechio dell Salento. The welcome is friendly, and Salento culture fits naturally into the local surroundings. Thanks for such a pleasant stay. I'd come back.
