We couldn't sleep properly because the room AC didn't work all night. It seems like it may not have been installed correctly. We told the staff, but they couldn't help and just said to wait for it to start working. It never did. Horrible experience, I can't recommend this place to anyone.

Check-in was easy to do ourselves with a few taps in the app, and the host kindly let us arrive early. The room was spotless, nicely decorated, and fully equipped, with a spacious, comfortable bathroom. There’s no breakfast included, but we had a coffee machine, kettle, capsules, tea bags, and porcelain cups in the room. Cleaning and fresh towels were provided daily. When we ran into a small check-in problem just before midnight, the host sorted it out quickly. The entrance and reception were lovely, though we never actually saw anyone there to greet us. The location made it easy to reach the city center, and it’s outside the restricted traffic zone. There are temporary white-line spaces and daily blue-line parking on the entrance street. Finding a space wasn’t easy, but we got lucky. Most things went perfectly, and we’d definitely come back. We did hear quite a bit of noise from upstairs, including small children, even at night. The bathroom terrace was a bit dirty, so we didn’t want to go out there. The bathroom radiator was cold. That didn’t bother us, but a working one would have made the room a full score.

We had an easy, friendly time communicating with the owner, who replied quickly. The apartment was very clean and cozy, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It’s also a great base for exploring Lecce, within walking distance of the center and main sights. I’d happily recommend it.

The only real drawback was the soundproofing. I could hear guests coming in, footsteps that I think were from upstairs, and a little girl screaming and crying at 11:30 PM. Otherwise, the stay was excellent. The location was easy to find, and check-in and check-out went smoothly. The room was very clean, with shower gel, shampoo, soap, coffee, hot tea, and water provided. The bed and pillow were comfortable and clean. As a few other reviews mention, the towels smell of menthol.
