We were only there for two nights, but Palazzo Maresgallo completely won us over. Miriam greeted us like old friends and you could feel how much she cares about the palazzo. Giuseppe even drove us to the hotel after we got lost, which we won't forget. The building itself is a gorgeous, carefully restored 16th-century place, full of art and history with a calm, elegant feel. The staff were warm and attentive throughout. We can't wait to come back.

The care our aunt received is what we'll remember most. She had recently had surgery and was in a lot of pain while traveling. The team looked after her so tenderly, and the owner personally accompanied her to the pharmacy and made sure she had what she needed. It felt heartfelt, not routine. We were four guests at Palazzo Maresgallo, in Lecce's historic heart. The suites were beautiful, with soft light and lovely textures, and the garden mornings felt timeless. We also enjoyed quiet moments on the sunny rooftop. This noble residence has a graceful design throughout, from the vaulted ceilings to all the thoughtful details. It gave us much more than a place to stay, it left us with a treasured memory of beauty and kindness. abdala family with love

Miriam is a wonderful, gracious host. She welcomes each guest and lets you know she'll do what she can if you need anything. The attention to detail throughout Palazzo Maresgallo is beautiful, and the accommodation feels luxurious and impeccably kept. There's also a lovely rooftop terrace overlooking the city, with a full bar and bartender for a cocktail before or after dinner.

Miriam and her staff made us feel like family. We left with great travel memories after a stay that mixed history, comfort and personal service so well. The hotel sits in Lecce's historic centre, in a beautifully grand 17th-century palace. The lobby feels elegant, and the courteous staff noticed every detail. Our room had tasteful furnishings and classic Italian style, with a comfortable, restful feel. From the balcony we could admire Lecce's architecture, including its Baroque landmarks. The hotel also gave us a chance to enjoy the city's culture while being thoroughly pampered.
