Pangea e Panthálassa B&B

The owner is a chef who specializes in vegan and organic food, and the refined, distinctive desserts are made with gluten-free ingredients by default. That meant a lot to me as someone with celiac disease, since I have to plan meals and everything else in advance. Breakfast was outstanding for a B&B. The place also puts real effort into sustainability and supports local, zero-mile production. I liked feeling that connection to the area, and I’m already keen to return. It’s a simple, welcoming, functional place, just steps from Lecce’s historic centre and train station.

Andrea made a delicious vegan breakfast and was a lovely, helpful host. The rooms were spotless, and the location was excellent, about a ten-minute walk from the city centre. Highly recommended.

Three years after my last visit, I came back to Pangea&Panthalassa B&B. Andrea is still managing it so well, with the same dedication to welcoming guests. It’s a peaceful, clean, well-serviced place in central Lecce.

I spent a week at this B&B and felt relaxed and well looked after the whole time. The owner was incredibly friendly, and everything was spotlessly clean. It’s only a five-minute walk from the centre, yet the place is quiet and peaceful. I recommend it.
