Parking around Piazza Mazzini is paid and time-limited, assuming you can find a spot. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, though some have a bathroom out in the hallway rather than inside the room, as mine did. That wasn’t mentioned when I booked. Breakfast is at a nearby bar and includes one croissant and a hot drink per person; anything else, like juice, costs extra. The manager hadn’t explained that during the phone booking either. The B&B occupies an eight-storey building, with all the rooms on the top floor. I wish these details had been clearer, as the stay could have felt much more relaxing.

The location is the one thing this place has going for it. The rooms are quite run down, the bed is uncomfortable, and the pillows are worse. The breakfast bar is a long way off and the food there is poor quality.

The staff were so friendly and ready to help, and the mattresses were comfortable. It’s a very clean building, just a short walk from the historic centre. I’d recommend it.

We got a friendly welcome, and it was a clean, quiet place to sleep. The historic centre is close by, with plenty of amenities around Piazza Mazzini. Recommended.

We had bikes with us and were surprised to find ourselves staying in a penthouse. The room was very spacious and clean, and the staff were helpful. Thank you!
