Rudiae Boutique

I especially loved having a balcony, and the stay itself was calm and comfortable. Francesco was a genuinely helpful host. Rudiae Boutique bed n breakfast is great value, in a regular Italian neighborhood just outside Lecce's historic center. Porta Rudiae is only a stone's throw away, and the walk into the center takes about 7-8 minutes.

There are cafes, supermarkets, pharmacies, and a laundromat nearby, and the building felt very secure. As a woman traveling alone, I felt completely safe there and had no worries about leaving valuables inside while I explored. The owners were quick to respond, and the place was very comfortable. It's a little far from the historic center if longer walks are difficult, but it's a good choice if you'd rather stay away from the busier part of town. I'd consider coming back to Lecce and staying here again.

The host was so friendly and attentive throughout my stay. I found the accommodation clean and comfortable, just as described, and it was close to the city center, restaurants, and the main sights. I had a wonderful time in Lecce and would definitely recommend the place.

The area was peaceful, and the soundproof windows meant we could actually sleep despite the Italian curse of noisy motos and mopeds. Francesco gave us a really warm welcome. The rooms were modern, lovely, and clean. It's around 15 minutes on foot from either the station or the old town, but we'd happily recommend it for a good night's rest.
