Salento Living Apartment

The apartment is nicely furnished and in an excellent central location, but too many things were missing or not working. The TV didn't work, and the air conditioner's remote was broken. There was no Wi-Fi, which we needed because our phones didn't work inside the building. The floor was dirty and there were no cleaning products. For four days, we got just one roll of toilet paper, and the coffee maker had no pods. The beds weren't made, so we had to do that ourselves. It was too expensive for a place lacking so many amenities.

There was no curtain on the bedroom window, so light came in constantly and people in the apartment across the street could see into the room. We had no privacy. There was also no toilet paper, so bring your own. The apartment was handed over an hour and a half later than expected. The boiler wasn't working at first, leaving us without hot water or heating, though it was fixed after an hour.

The apartment is a good option in central Lecce, but the owner's management let it down badly. For three days I had no electricity in the kitchen or bathroom, and the television never worked during my 15-day stay. Traveling alone, I found the TV a necessary and very helpful companion. Cleaning was promised but never took place, and the sheets weren't changed either. With more care, this could have been an excellent place to stay, but sadly it wasn't. I don't recommend it, since there are many other B&Bs nearby that may be better. It wouldn't take much.

The location is great, but this is the usual tourist apartment setup. It has hardly anything, was renovated in a rush, and was dirty, with cockroaches in the bathroom. There's no washing machine, either. Another lovely building split into tourist flats, cheaply redone and rented out as much as possible.
