I don’t recommend this place. They never answer the phone, and when you call, you just get a generic message saying they’re unavailable and to try again later. There’s no way to leave a message either. What kind of lodging business never picks up its phone?

Finding parking during my visit for the Christmas markets wasn’t easy, but the owners were very kind and explained by phone where to park and how to reach the hotel. The apartments are new, clean, and well kept, with modern furnishings and everything you need, including heating, a kettle, and a safe. They’re right in the heart of Lecce, and it only takes a few minutes to walk to Piazza Sant'Oronzo, the Cathedral, the castle, and the other sights. The area is pleasant in the evening as well, with restaurants and bars close by.

I called on the evening of December 24th to ask about a room for New Year’s Eve. They told me to call back after the 26th and said I was disturbing them because the woman was having dinner. When I said I understood I was interrupting, but wanted to check availability since it was a busy period and short notice, they hung up on me. I was speechless. The rudeness and total lack of professionalism shocked me. If booking calls from paying guests bother you, maybe you should find another line of work.

The room was clean, though we did spot a few ants on the floor. The location is excellent, but the rest needs rethinking. The receptionist couldn’t answer any of our questions, so we had to call the owner for every bit of information. Parking is available, but you have to pay in cash, and the tourist tax must be paid in cash too.
