We had a bit too much wine when I wrote this, but we'll definitely be back! The food nearby was awesome, the sea was warm and blue, and the walk to the beach was short. Our host was super friendly and even arranged a late check-in. The villa has been fully restored and had all the supplies we needed, plus a hot tub. I added a few pictures of local towns and beaches. Forza South Italy, Forza Puglia! What more do you need?

A really lovely villa in just the right spot for exploring Salento. I'd highly recommend it.

10/10
The outdoor areas and garden were a real bonus, perfect for a meal outside or simply enjoying the sea breeze. Villa Idume is a peaceful oasis only a few steps from the sea, and the house is bright, spacious, and meticulously cared for. Every room was spotless and tastefully furnished, with comfort and relaxation clearly in mind. The beach is close, and the quiet location is also convenient for Lecce and the other wonders of Salento. The management was attentive, helpful, and professional. We came away feeling truly rested. Well deserved five stars.

Simone was incredibly kind and available whenever we needed him, while still giving us privacy. That's especially appreciated when you're a group of 14 young people. We had a wonderful time at Villa Idume. The house was spacious, clean, and beautiful, with everything we needed and more, just a few steps from the sea. It felt like home, and we'll keep it in our hearts.

The main nuisance was flies during the day and more mosquitoes in the evening, though some simple precautions can manage that. Otherwise, it's a great place for a bigger group, around 9-10 people. The location is excellent, and the rooms are spacious, well organized, and flexible enough for different needs.
