What stands out most is Ilaria's kindness and helpfulness. The rooms were spotless, and it's a handy location for exploring Lecce's historic center: 700 meters from Porta Napoli and just steps from the clubs on Via Taranto.

The owner was warm and very kind, and it's a good place for families too. There are supermarkets, pizzerias, and pubs close by, and the center is only a few minutes away. I happened to find this property online, and after a wonderful weekend I was more than satisfied. I highly recommend it.

This B&B is advertised as four stars, but I'd take off three. The rooms are inside a company lobby, so there's little privacy, and the breakfast at the bar was subpar. There's a hot drinks machine shared with company employees, and the bathroom linens provided were only for one person, which my wife and I had to share. Poor hospitality. Sincerely, Eng. Hello everyone, I had a very bad experience with the owner of this property and want to warn anyone who has a Smartbox package, as this property is a partner. I booked a stay for two through Smartbox from August 14th to 16th and sent the owner the codes on WhatsApp. On August 10th, my girlfriend became ill, so after checking Smartbox's cancellation policy, which allows cancellation up to 3 days beforehand, I messaged the owner around noon to say we wouldn't be coming. She said there was a problem because I had blocked the room. I replied that my cancellation was within the package terms. Less than an hour after our call, I got an email confirming a booking at her property for August 12th to 15th, dates I had never arranged and had not agreed to. I called the owner right away. She said she had entered the codes on August 5th, which seemed very strange because confirmations arrive immediately by email. I told her I was recording the call because it sounded like she was making excuses and trying to get away with this. She then changed the booking dates to August 19th to 21st without asking me. Only after I warned her that I would take legal action and had recordings of what she was saying did she email Smartbox. She also claimed I was harassing her by calling to get my package back or obtain a refund, because she had acted in bad faith. On August 12th, I contacted Smartbox support, and the manager understood what had happened. They confirmed the booking was made on August 10th, after my cancellation message, not on August 5th as the owner had claimed. They reactivated my codes, and I reported the property to the relevant Smartbox offices. I told the owner she had tried to steal my Smartbox and get compensation for my cancellation, but she didn't succeed. She was lucky, as she risked a serious lawsuit. Be wary of this person. Her behavior was VILE AND IGNOUS.
